I would like to propose not to wait until you earn enough cash to buy goods! You should take the home loans or just secured loan and feel yourself comfortable

I agree with Elaine, great article and some sound advice.

I specialise in cityscapes and architectural pieces -- painted from sketches, lots of historical research and photographs.

My work is very distinctive as I am the only artist whose work focuses on paintings of the old town of Edinburgh City.

I know my work is excellent, I’ve been told that I manage to capture "the mood and flavour" of my subjects.

I like Elaine would like my work to be featured in a gallery but all I get is rejection after rejection. Anybody any suggestions?

Although I paint people and landscapes, I specialize in people -- generally painted from submitted photographs. My experience has been that when I submit a portrait painting in local art shows -- the painting ends up in the farthest corner of the gallery because the majority of the work is abstract, or expressionist.

My work is unique in the sense that I generally am the only one whose work focuses on people--portraits or a full-body action painting, i.e. Boy Playing Soccer, Girl on the Beach, or a Man Rowing. I feel that my work is exceptional, in that I manage to really capture "the essence" of the subject.

I would like to be featured in a gallery that accepts paintings which celebrate the most interesting kind of subject, people.
