Greg Smith

"Then we wonder why HD Radio has not been embraced. Could it be that consumers considering the technology find that what's on the HD dial is less than compelling?"

Even Struble admitted, "Nobody goes into Best Buy and says 'Where's the radio department.'" It doesn't matter what is programmed on the chennels, consumers just don't care. The know a scam, when they see one. Plus, the system is highly flawed. Stations never really cared about HD, and don't want to draw listeners away from their money-making main analog signals. I can't wait umtil those class-action suits are filed against iBiquity and the automakers, and possibly HD stations generating interference to adjacents.
